The scent is named after the iconic London landmark and former residence of the 1st Duke of Wellington. One of England’s most esteemed figures, the name conjures up the image of determination, sophistication and selfless courage. Apsley celebrates the spirit of men who aspire to these same values and to the ambition of greatness. The scent is rooted in tradition, history and the cultural inspiration that guides the careful crafting of our supplies and fragrance.

While as distinctive and timeless as a classic Truefitt & Hill scent,  Apsley is intriguing — a gourmand fragrance that's darker and deeper than some of its predecessors, keeping with the themes of unquenchable spirit and freedom of ambition.

Deeply reminiscent of the changing seasons, Apsley has been formulated to ignite the senses with a refined blend of smouldering woods accentuated by light citrus notes.

With rugged inspirations and refined delivery, the overtones of woody vertivert are lifted with a refreshing essence of grapefruit and are accentuated by notes of pepper, while its heart brings cedar wood and patouchli with a musk baseline.
