Great Modern Man Cologne

Not overpowering, or overly in your face macho scent. This is a clean smelling cologne that lasts about 6 hours on me. I would definitely purchase this again.

Amazing Scent

Upon receiving the Truefitt & Hill sample shave kit, I immediately fell in love with the Mayfair aftershave scent. I attended the Truefitt & Hill Store on Bay Street in Toronto and purchased a bottle of cologne and aftershave. My only complaint about the cologne is that the scent does not last terribly long and that one seems to need a lot “sprays” before the scent is noticeable. Overall, one of the best cologne scents on the market.

I had the opportunity to visit Truefitt & Hill on St.James Street in London on 25 September 2023 with my son. We went in for a shave. When mine was finished, Michael asked if I’d like some cologne. I don’t usually use anything other than a post shave lotion. But it was a special treat to be in such a famous shop that I decided to give it a go. Michael gave me a light spray of Mayfair on each side of my face. He told me it was their newest scent. I loved it right away and purchased a 100ML bottle to take home. It reminds me of London and that experience whenever I spray a bit on.

I couldn’t possibly add anything more than what is stated by John M in a previous review. His review is spot on.
I have been searching for a floral fragrance as a mix in my cologne collection. Others simply missed the mark with odd scent mixes. In my opinion the citrus and floral notes pair extremely well with neither overpowering the other.
The dry down is phenomenal with a great base musk layer. The fragrance lasts well (6+ hours) and I would say the sillage is moderate, staying closer to your body.
A perfect addition to my Apsley and 1805 colognes.
